EMFC Annual Celebration Event Beer, Balls and Banter January 1, 2025

Each year, the club organizes an annual event to celebrate the year, share stories, and come together as a large soccer community. Our EMFC Beer, Balls and Banter event is now in its third year and we are excited to team up again with Oakshire Brewery to do an Oakshire Inspires event on January 1, 2025. We hope many of you can stop by for an hour, share a beverage, try some delicious meals from the selection of food carts at Oakshire, and enjoy some moments with your fellow soccer coaches, players and families.

The Oakshire Inspires event will be held at Oakshire’s Public House located at 207 Madison St, Eugene, OR 97402. Please mark it on your calendars! With every beer sold from 11am to close on 1/31, $1 will be donated to Eugene Metro FC. Come support a local business and a non-profit organization AND have a good time all in one night.

If you are not able to join us, support the event by buying a few EMFC raffle tickets and win big. You can buy some EMFC Raffle tickets to support the club

EMFC Little and Mini Metro Winter Indoor Academy 2024/25

The EMFC Little Metros Program Winter Program aims to provide a fun and positive learning environment for young soccer players by going indoors during the cold months and introducing them to the sport of futsal. Futsal is the FIFA approved indoor soccer format that is played on a court surface, with a ball that has a reduced bounce. This format is super fun, and asks of players new movements, forms of control, and variability that also transfer to the outdoor game.

Winter Little Metros Program runs for the first 3 weeks of December (Monday and Thursdays) , and then 3 weeks in January (Tuesdays and Wednesdays). All sessions will be at Bob Keefer Sports Center in Springfield.

You can learn more about our Mini and Little Metro program here. Dates, times, cost, etc. can be found here.

EMFC Goalkeeper Camp November 30, 2024

Eugene Metro FC recognizes that the position of Goalkeeper is a specialty position with specific requirements beyond that of a field player. Beginning with our U10 Academy the development of players who show an interest in goalkeeping is managed through weekly training sessions that focus on age appropriate aspects of goalkeeping. In addition to our regular GK sessions, we offer GK camps from time to time to allow players extra training and invite community members as well.

You can read more about the details of the camp here.

Please register online for the camp.
