Seb Trickett Leadership Council U13/14 Girls Certifications: USSF National B license

Sebastian (Seb) has 17 years of coaching experience, 13 years with EMFC. He joined EMFC in 2013 where he’s coached boys and girls of every age, from Little Metros to U19. He recently received his USSF B license. He served as the EMFC TOP Soccer program director for 7 years and received the OYSA TOP Soccer coach of the year award in 2016. He also served as the EMFC 3v3 Challenge Cup director for the past 4 years. Additionally to club, he coached South Eugene High School girls Varsity for 4 seasons. He helped lead the Axe to an undefeated regular season, #2 state ranking, the 6A state quarterfinals, and was named Southwest Conference coach of the year in 2017. For the past 5 years he’s focused on coaching girls teams and has lead 4 different Girls Academy League teams for EMFC. Currently he coaches EMFC 11G Barcelona Premier and 13G Wolfsburg Premier.

Seb was born in Eugene and attended South Eugene High School. He played for multiple local clubs prior to the formation of EMFC; Lane AFC, South Eugene Strikers, Oregon West, and McKenzie United. As a club player he competed in 6 State Cup Finals games, 4 Nomads Coaches Showcases, the Far West Regionals, and the USA Cup. His South Eugene High School team played in back to back State Finals, winning the 1998 State Championship. They were ranked 4th in the country by USA Today and recently inducted into the South Eugene Hall of Fame. He played collegiately at Sonoma State University in California before graduating from the University of Oregon.
