This year’s event was the 16th edition of the EMFC 3v3 Challenge Cup. We had 89 teams registered competing in 14 divisions on 12 fields at the Willamalane Sports Center in Springfield. Between 9am and 6pm teams from Klamath Falls, Bend, Salem, North Bend, Albany, Portland, and Roseburg competed in 194 games, showed some great skills, dressed in some creative jerseys, and overall enjoyed themselves with good food and friends and family.
Thank you to all the players, coaches, and families who make this event one of the highlight of the year. Thank you to all the volunteers who helped set up and break down, run game cards, enter results, answer questions, take pictures, and put a ton of energy into this event. Thank you to Tournament director Daniel Kahler and his crew for keeping games on track, balls supplied, results entered, and the event running as smooth as it did. Thank you to Cindy Wilgus and all her referees for officiating all the games with a professional demeanor.
