In 2023 Eugene Metro FC applied and was admitted to the ECNL boys Regional League, a national platform for top male players. The Elite Club National League boys is the leading youth development platform for the top boys soccer players in the United States. The ECNL Boys was formed to improve the daily environment for boys youth soccer players through a collaborative club-based development program featuring competition, player identification, and coaching and club development platforms. The ECNL boys also has a Regional League and our club along with five other top clubs in Oregon and Idaho have been the founding members of the Far West Regional League.

The Far West Regional League will allow us the opportunity to expand our competition schedule in a way that will not disrupt our club calendars and will allow our High School age athletes to compete with their High School teams uninterrupted. Now our U13-19 Competitive 1 teams will play in ECNL Regional League
Season 2025-26
All U13-19 Birth year (2011-2007/08) EMFC Boys Competitive 1 teams will play in the ECNL boys Far West Regional League.
After tryouts in May, teams will train typically Mon-Wed and every other Friday. Each of the ECNL boys teams will have a Summer Tournament schedule and a ECNL boys Far West League schedule.
Preliminary Tournament Schedule
The summer tournaments will be set by the coaches and club. We will play 2 summer tournaments. There are no national RL Showcase requirements. Teams will be able to chose on an individual basis if they want to attend a national RL Showcase.

Boys High School Soccer Season: August-November
How it works:
- U15/8th grade players will try out with the other 2011 U15 players for placement on ability based rosters for the 2025-26 season.
- U15/8th grade players will train and compete on their respective teams throughout the year except during high school season.
- During high school season, we will pool the U15/8th grade players who seek to continue training and games together, regardless of ability. The U15/8th grade teams will train 2x per week and if we have enough players to form an 8th grade team we will register them in an OYSA league
