ECNL League

ECNL Boys League

In 2025 Eugene Metro FC was promoted from the ECNL boys Regional League to the ECNL league. The Elite Club National League boys is the leading youth development platform for the top boys soccer players in the United States. The ECNL Boys was formed to improve the daily environment for boys youth soccer players through a collaborative club-based development program featuring competition, player identification, and coaching and club development platforms.

The Far West League will allow us the opportunity to expand our competition schedule in a way that will not disrupt our club calendars and will allow our High School age athletes to compete with their High School teams uninterrupted.

Season 2025-26

All U13-19 Birth year (2011-2007/08) EMFC Boys Premier teams will play in the ECNL boys Far West League and will no longer play in OYSA.

After tryouts in May, teams will train typically 3 times a week. Each of the ECNL boys teams will have a Tournament schedule and a ECNL boys Far West League schedule.

ECNL Showcase Requirements

Our U13-19 Premier boys teams will do 2 Summer tournaments determined by their coaches and the club. I addition, they will have to attend national Showcases. Once we know where and when those will be we will make those decisions so our teams can plan, fundraise and attend those highly coveted Showcases to compete and attract the attention of college coaches.

  • U13 and U14 boys teams have no national Showcase requirements
  • U15 (2011B) will have 1 national Showcase to attend
  • U16 (2010B) and U17 (2009B) will have 2 national Showcases to attend
  • U19 (2007/08B) will have 1 national Showcase to attend

Preliminary ECNL boys Far West League Schedule

We will provide more information once the ECNL clubs meet in May to establish a schedule for our teams.

Soccer is the primary sport; coaches and families should communicate to develop a plan that allows multi-sport athletes to participate while considering the needs of the team.

Boys High School Soccer Season: August-November

    How it works:

    • U15/8th grade players will try out with the other 2011 U15 players for placement on ability based rosters for the 2025-26 season.
    • U15/8th grade players will train and compete on their respective teams throughout the year except during high school season.
    • During high school season, we will pool the U15/8th grade players who seek to continue training and games together, regardless of ability. The U15/8th grade teams will train 2x per week and if we have enough players to form an 8th grade team we will register them in an OYSA league
