EMFC Coaching jobs:
EMFC has a diverse and experienced coaching staff consistently helping our players to improve their game. Our coaching staff prides itself to continue their own education around the game as well. We collaborate and do our best to help our players and teams to succeed. EMFC has a mission, a playing philosophy and a curriculum set in a collaborative culture where coaches do work together and support each other. All of our coaches share a passion for the game.
We strive to have all our coaches licensed and support our coaches in their coaching education. All coaches are going through a annual background check, Safesport certification, and concussion training. We have a growing number of female coaches and want to continue increasing our number of female leaders. We have coaches on staff who are head coaching several teams, and take on other responsibilities in the club and we have coaches who coach or assistant coach next to their full time job. We have several young coaches who grew up playing in the club and are now passing on their knowledge and experience of the game to the next generation.
We have multiple programs from age 4 to 19 which allows us to utilize coaches with different levels of commitment and experience. We have coaches working seasonally in our Little Metros programs, or work all year with one of our Premier, Competitive or Discovery teams.
If you are interested joining the EMFC coaching staff please send a short resume (playing experience and coaching experience) to the Director of Coaching at doc@emfc.org

Non-Coaching Jobs/Internships or Volunteer Opportunities at EMFC
You might have a passion for the game but not for coaching. Or you would love to coach, but the evening and weekend hours do not work with your schedule. And you might have a skill set that our club could use and you have some hours to spare.
As a non-profit organization providing soccer programs for over 1000 kids, we have all kind of needs. We are interested to utilize potential skills on our team.
- Fundraising events: As a non-profit we always look for ways to raise funds for our EMFC scholarship program. If you have experience in event planning and execution, we would love to utilize your help.
- Athletic trainer: In some of our games we will need to provide an athletic trainer to be present. All our GA home games will need a athletic trainer present. We would love a volunteer but would also consider credit for your player’s account or get paid as an independent contractor.
- Website design: We have a WordPress website that was designed by an EMFC parent many years back. We can do most of the day to day changes on the website but everyone once in a while we need to make changes that are beyond our skill set. If you are a WordPress wizard and have some volunteer hours for some projects contact us.
- Newsletter: Are you a good writer with some time to work on our newsletter? We like to publish our newsletter once a month and could use some help on design and writing.
- Love to help: We always have some work to do for events, game days, or for some special projects. If you don’t find anything in the jobs above but you still want to help, please contact us. At some point we needed a welder to help with fixing some goals. We tried to improve the grass fields a couple years back and you saw many of us aerate the grass fields.
If you are interested to contribute some of your skill set to our Eugene Metro FC non-profit organization, we would love to hear from you. We do have some paid positions, we are happy to utilize volunteers, and we also are happy to set up meaningful internships. Please send a resume or questions to Jurgen at doc@emfc.org
