I began my coaching with Eugene Metro FC following a playing career that included playing at South Eugene HS and Yale University. I have coached a range of ages, boys and girls, and at all levels from U6 up to competitive U18 USYS National League boys teams. After starting out coaching with EMFC I moved to Alabama where I coached for Mobile United FC for several years, and for Gulf Coast Rangers FC. I started a futsal organization to introduce the sport to the Mobile area, and have been involved in grassroots efforts to introduce school age kids to soccer and futsal. I have a USSF C license, Futsal Level 1 diploma, and have participated in various futsal coaching webinars, courses from Spain and Brazil. I have worked at public schools in various roles within special education for seven years in addition to coaching futsal and soccer.
