Aden began his coaching more than a decade ago when EMFC was still Eugene Timbers FC. His path into coaching followed a playing career that included local clubs McKenzie United, Oregon United, and Westside Metros, and playing at South Eugene HS and collegiately for Yale University. He has coached a full range of ages on both boys and girls sides at various levels, from U4 Mini Metros to U18 USYS National League boys team in Alabama. While in Alabama he coached with Mobile United FC, and Gulf Coast Rangers FC. He helped his teams twice to state cup finals in 2017 and 2019, coached division I and II state league-winning teams, and won Alabama President’s Cup with his U14 boys team. During his time in Alabama he spent two years teaching special education outside of Mobile, AL where he founded a small futsal organization to introduce the sport to the players in the Mobile area, and gradually turned his focus towards grassroots efforts to introduce school-age kids to soccer and futsal. He has worked with various EMFC teams over the past five years and served as director for EMFC Mini & Little Metros program.
Aden holds a USSF C license, Futsal Level 1 diploma from United Soccer Coaches, and has participated in various futsal coaching webinars and courses from Spain and Brazil outside of the US license pathways. Aden worked in public schools in various special education roles for seven years.
