Jürgen played in Germany’s top state leagues through age 18, competing at regional, national, and international levels. He then captained a semi-professional team in a competitive state league.
Jürgen began coaching as a player-coach over 30 years ago in Germany, earning several coaching licenses, including the German National B License and the USSF A License (2010), plus the National Youth License (2013). He has coached youth and adult teams in both Germany and the U.S. Since 2000, Jürgen has coached U11–U19 teams in Eugene, from local to statewide premier leagues.
