Owen grew up in Eugene playing soccer and eventually joining EMFC. He also played four years at North Eugene HS and played with the ETFC Lane United Select team in both his Junior and Senior Year. Owen played collegiate soccer at Evergreen State College in Olympia, WA in the NAIA before moving back to Eugene. He started coaching with EMFC in 2024 and has grown fast in his role on the EMFC coaching staff. He completed his USSF C license recently. Owen also coaches Valle Verde, a UPSL local men’s team and has always supported local HS programs.
