Taylor is homegrown in Springfield, Oregon, and played on the first girls’ soccer team in EMFC. She graduated from Thurston High School, where she was a varsity, first-team all-league player all four years. She went on to play at the University of Oregon, earning a starting spot as a freshman.
She then played at Lane Community College, where she was named league MVP, selected to the all-star game, and led the team to its only Final Four appearance. Taylor finished her collegiate career at Eastern Oregon University, earning first-team all-conference honors both years, along with Newcomer of the Year and Offensive Player of the Year.
Taylor began her coaching career with EMFC and has over 10 years of experience. She has won both a Presidents Cup and a Founders Cup. She specializes in creating an environment that brings out the best in her players by promoting a balance between fun and challenge, while recognizing what each individual player needs to develop and succeed.
