Ty grew up in Eugene and participated in youth soccer through Kidsports. He played soccer at South Eugene HS and graduated in 1994. He was an Assistant Golf Professional from 1998 to 2008. He coached at South Eugene HS both as JV soccer coach and a Varsity Golf coach. Ty coached soccer for Kidsports in various age groups from 2007 to 2017 and he was the head coach for the Churchill boys program. Ty ran our Little Timbers program and will now direct the Discovery Program. Ty is married to his his high school sweetheart Sara Taggart and they have 3 kids together who all play soccer.
