Scholarships
Eugene Metro FC offers partial scholarships based on financial need to qualified players on the club’s U10 through U19 soccer teams. Scholarship awards cover 30-50% of the annual club fee for players whose family income qualifies for funding.
If your player is offered a spot on one of our teams after tryouts, you will have to accept the spot via BYGA and then complete the online BYGA registration. The registration process includes an application for an EMFC scholarship for the 2026-2027 season.
All applicants are required to upload the following document as part of the EMFC scholarship application:
- Federal 1040 Tax Return (2025) with player listed as a dependent (First page only) We recommend you black out any social security numbers listed.
If your family receives SNAP benefits please also upload the following document:
- SNAP official eligibility notification from Oregon Department of Human Services
The EMFC scholarship committee makes awards to qualified players after reviewing all applications confidentially. The award amounts are based on financial need, available funds, and the number of qualified applicants.
Players receiving EMFC scholarships are required to fulfill the following:
- All previous EMFC account balances are paid in full
- Fill out a completed online scholarship application
- Upload required qualification document(s)
